Rita et Machin

I was feeling a bit blue so, to cheer myself up, I bought the latest volume of the super-cute French children's picture book series Rita et Machin — about a very energetic and bossy little girl and her lazy dog. They are drawn in an effective faux-childish style that uses just pencil and one color (red) to create a strong graphic coherence for these delightful stories.
